We took care of Vandewiele’s digital presence at the ITMA fair in Italy, they are a world player in textile machinery. From immersive experiences to fuel a product launch to nitty-gritty tech details in an interactive and attractive display, we pulled out all the stops. With these digital experiences, we really tried to impress their potential clients and give their sales a head start, even though their new machine can almost sell itself. It can be said with certainty: thanks to their confidence in us, the booth was absolutely bustling with innovation, high-tech, and optimism.
Challenge
So imagine you’re a world leader in weaving looms and textile machinery, and you have this amazing new development that will rock the industry to its core. Then imagine your new machine is so enormous that it's near impossible to transport it to ITMA, the world’s largest international textile and garment technology exhibition. Aka the perfect place and time to showcase your magic machinery. This was the moment Vandewiele decided they needed some help. Not to transport the machine to Italy, but to join the fair as the true innovative player they are and go fully digital.

Experience
Mirror, mirror on the wall
Among other things, we built an immersive room with a surface of 121m2. In other words: big. To one side, you have a huge, 25-meter LED wall. The other three walls of the room are made of mirrors. This gives the room an infinity effect, really enveloping the visitor. The immersive film we project takes about three minutes to watch and tells the story of Vandewiele’s new machine and all its features, their relentless quest for more sustainable solutions, and the power of innovation that they so love. The goal of this room? Leave visitors convinced that Vandewiele is not only ready for, but designing, the future of the textile industry. And spark their curiosity, it did.
